OCMA DrillTech has developed a range of drill bits that allow the insertion of casings during the drilling. These systems called SUPERBIT allow drillings on loose grounds ensuring excellent performance. At the beginning of the drilling operations, expandable wings are closed to allow the system to go through the casing and lean against the shoe. Once the system touches the ground below, the system automatically opens the expandable wings, exceeding the diameter of the casing and then the drilling can begin. Once the drilling is complete, it is necessary to pull the Superbit upwards and the wings, as soon as they lean against the shoe, retract in the initial diameter.
